1957 saw the introduction of the third generation Olds 88 which featured a beautiful newly designed body and elaborate trim work which helped set it apart from its counterparts. The Super 88 was Oldsmobile’s upscale mid-line series and featured the potent Rocket engine. The Olds Rocket engine saw improvements in 1957 as well. The displacement was increased to a healthy 371ci and horsepower increased to 277! These Oldsmobiles commanded attention and so will this limited edition release from Acme
