More than 40 years ago, in an attempt to recapture some of the sales lost to the saturated muscle car market, the Pontiac Motor Division gave the GTO a serious facelift and The Judge was born! Pontiac wanted to capture a younger audience with this new look and it certainly worked. From the eye catching eyebrow stripes to the huge trunk mounted spoiler, this car screamed look at me! The Judge could be optioned with four engines in 1970, all big-bore Pontiac muscle. Taking the leap to the High Output 455-cu.in. V-8 brought 10.25:1 compression and 360hp at 4,300 RPM, but even more torque, totaling 500-ft.lbs. at 3,100 RPM. There was no doubt about the verdict on this setup as it certainly ruled the streets. This beautiful 1970 Judge captures all that power and is wrapped in deep burgandy poly and vibrant Judge trim. Time to visit the past and relive those tire smokin glory days!
