The event was held at the Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, and consisted of a 1000-kilometer race. It was the thirteenth event of sixteen in the 2018 Supercars Championship and race 25 of the season. It was the second event of the 2018 Enduro Cup.
