• Built in the United States and shipped aboard USS Breton on 19 April 1944
• Assembled at Espiritu Santo in May 1944
• Issued to No. 15 Squadron at Guadalcanal on 18 May 1944
• Coded "77" and received the Irate Donald Duck artwork
• Later served with No. 14 Squadron, No. 16 Squadron, and finally No. 21 Squadron
• Suffered damage in a taxiing accident in August 1944, was repaired, and remained in service until after the war
• Returned to New Zealand in October 1945 and sold as surplus in 1948
