Over 53,000 M3 vehicles were produced during WWII. The M3A1 featured a 147 horsepower 6-cylinder gasoline engine that could reach speeds of 45 mph. Configured in many different formats the M3A1 was primarily used for troop transport and as an armoured car. It contained an array of small arms and a .50 caliber Browning M2-HB.
